The Robert Dunn Collection
Robert “Bob” Dunn was a man of many passions—basketball, the San Francisco 49ers, but above all, automobiles and racing. A true enthusiast, he owned numerous high-performance cars over the years, including several Ferraris, which ultimately ignited his deep appreciation for vintage racing posters. His journey as a collector began in the 1970s, and over the next three decades, he built an extraordinary assemblage of historic racing imagery.

Bob’s love for motorsports was not confined to collecting; he had the privilege of attending some of the world’s most renowned racing events, further enriching his appreciation for the sport. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he took great joy in sharing his collection with friends and family, reliving the golden eras of racing through the vibrant artwork he so carefully curated.

Bob was also a respected figure within the automotive community, serving as Vice President of the Ferrari Club of America – Pacific Region. Following his passing in 2013, his cherished collection remained in the care of his wife, Linda Dunn, who had shared in his passion for racing and had accompanied him to many of these iconic events. Linda continued to enjoy and preserve the collection until her own passing in 2023.

The Robert Dunn Collection stands as a testament to a lifetime devoted to the thrill, beauty, and history of motorsport.
