Auctions are a fun way of finding unique items for collectors, dealers and first time buyers, now with more bidding options than ever before. Attend a live sale, bid online, or by phone. Attend our sales in person (some of our sales are online / phone / absentee only auctions).

Online bidding has become the most popular method of “attending” our sales. You can place bids online in advance or during the auction, or participate live as if you were present in the auction room. Use your computer, tablet, or phone. You don’t even have to download another app.

Register in advance of a sale and store your favorite items for easy access. At, you pay the same as the floor without any extra fees (starting in September 2020).  In addition, bids placed using our platform take precedence over identical bids placed on external platforms.


You may also choose to participate via an external platform such as (please note there is an extra 5% buyer’s premium for bidding on external sites).

You may arrange to bid live by telephone. Fill out and submit the Absentee Bid Form and a staff member will call you during the sale. Contact us for additional details.

Submit bids in advance of an auction. You can do so online through our auction platform or by submitting an Absentee Bid Form via email or fax. Your bids are confidential and your high bid will not be executed unless required by competitive bidding. Absentee bidders frequently purchase items for amounts well below their high bids.

For any item purchased directly through PosterConnection, the buyer’s premium is 22% of the hammer price. We provide a 2% discount on the buyer’s premium for check payment. An additional buyer’s premium of 5% is charged when purchasing items through a third-party platform such as Invaluable. Applicable sales tax and shipping / insurance costs, as outlined in Terms and Conditions of Sale, are added to the hammer price of each lot sold.
