History: Paul Colin born in 1892
On this day in 1892, Paul Colin, prolific designer of art deco posters and stage sets was born in Nancy, France. Colin is considered to be among the masters of the modern French poster and may have created some 2000+ poster designs in his long career. He was the founder of the Paul Colin School of Design in Paris and continued working well into the 1970s. Colin passed away in 1985.
