On this day, December 23rd, we remember the passing of the legendary Canadian jazz pianist and composer,  Oscar Peterson (1925–2007). Widely regarded as one of the greatest jazz pianists of all time, Peterson had a career spanning over 60 years, resulting in over 200 recordings and eight Grammy Awards. His virtuosity, incredible speed, and swinging style cemented his place in music history .His work captured the energy and improvisation that defined the golden age of jazz. Today, we turn up the volume and celebrate the immense musical legacy he left behind.
