A true polymath, Bill was heavily influenced by his time studying at the legendary Bauhaus (1927–29). He became a central figure in the development of Concrete Art and defined a style rooted in austere, elegant geometric forms and precision. Max Bill’s work, including his influential graphic and industrial designs, embodied the functional beauty of modernism.
