Travel Posters Galore at Auction on April 20:
There are only four days left until we conduct our spring 2024 vintage poster sale. In addition to some high-end goodies from the French Art Deco period and several rare silent film posters, there are over 160 travel posters in this sale. Among them is Gert Sellheim’s unique simplification of the vastness of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef into easily digestible elements: three angelfish arranged diagonally, four strands of seaweed dividing the poster neatly, three tropical islands each with a solitary palm tree, and a striking red underwater plant.
