History: David Klein born in 1918
On this day in 1918, the American advertising designer David Klein was born in El Paso, Texas. Klein is probably best known for the iconic travel posters he created for Trans World Airlines (TWA) during the 1950s and 1960s. His work has vastly grown in popularity during the last decade but many of his original posters are still available at affordable prices in today’s market. Klein passed away in December 2005 in New York.
