Some fun facts: There are more than 2000 breweries in the United States. The U.S. consumes roughly 75.8 liters (ca. 20 gallons) of beer per capita annually. That places the USA in 17^th place worldwide (2014 data). The biggest beer-drinking nation is … the Czech Republic with 142 liters (37.6 gallons) per capita! The most common style of beer produced by the big American breweries is lager.
